Honored to make Top 5

I feel so honored to have made the top 5 at the Miss Minnesota's Outstanding Teen Pageant. Fun fact... I kept a penny in my shoe through each area of competition, not for luck, but because it says "In God We Trust", and for me, that is a reminder that all things are possible through God, and that he was there with me through it all. God has also blessed me with many people in my life and I know that I am the person I am today because of them. Mom and Dad, thank you for making this possible for me, you have been unwavering in your love and support for me to be a part of this organization. My big sister Kenzi, who has inspired me to be as amazing as her. To my pageant directors, Molly and Jen for believing in me and blessing me with one more year on Team Waseca. Stacie McBride-Cox for always encouraging me to be the best version of myself. Lori Pakh, Nikki Mattfeld, and Kathryn and Andy Karg for helping me take a risk by stepping outside my comfort zone and singing for the first time by myself in front of a crowd To the Miss Minnesota board for all of the countless volunteer hours you pour into this program. To the Teen Class of 2017 for sharing this week with me and becoming my 18 new best friends. Hailey J, Alyssa C, Drew T, Megan L, Lauren F, Ally H and Breanna S thanks for being the best sisters a girl could ask for, so glad this organization brought us together. And everyone else who has played a role big or small in my journey to where I am now, thank you, (if you are reading this, that's you) you have all touched my heart, and I am so grateful for all of you. My dream doesn't end here, I can feel God nudging me to to trust him and compete one more year. So get ready Miss Minnesota Outstanding Teen because Faith, Dreams, and Dedication are a Powerful combination.
