  Waseca Sleigh and Cutter hosted it's annual Dream Catcher Bingo and Auction fundraiser. It was a record turnout, raising $1700 for local children with life threatening illnesses. Last year the organization's recipient Caden Pierce, who was given an all expense paid family vacation to Wisconsin Dells, was in attendance along with his family. It was so nice to see how well he is doing. I am excited to see which young person the committee decides to sponsor next. Sleigh & Cutter Organization is also a sponsor of our local pageant, so we partner with them by volunteering at many of their events throughout the year, including bingo every other week from November up to the Dream Catcher Bingo event. So proud to be able to represent such an awesome community.

I'm excited to announce that my organization Little Sprouts Garden Gang has grown from 5 to 25 Childcare Homes and Centers, in 19 different cities across Minnesota, representing over 300 children. That's incredible, I am excited to get garden seeds into the hands of all those children, and help spread my message of Creating Generation Healthy across this great state.  The Greater Minnesota Pageant crowned three Miss, and three Teen Titles, completing the Class of 2017. Congratulations to all of the contestants, for giving your all.

Wow, what an incredible space & gorgeous sound! 326 singers from all over the U.S. - 41 representing Perham High School! Blessed to have been part of this group, and made so many memories in Chicago.    Helping out at the Pedal in Place event at Lifetime Fitness in Lakeville. Proceeds for the event help Gillette Children's Hospital with the purchase of modified bikes for its CMN patients.    Headshots were a success thanks to our great pageant sponsors, McKayla Rae and Cassie's Classic Cut. So thankful to our sponsors for all they do.      Fun evening with this troop of girl scouts from Waseca. My sister queens and I each shared our platforms, and played self confidence building games, and made our own healthy snacks. 40 girls also took the MyPlate Pledge, and loved their new Creating Generation Healthy bracelets. Thank you to our amazing Pageant Sponsor, Pamela White from Aubony Bridal in Hutchinson, MN for helping me find the perfect dress for me.   I had so much visiting this group of sweet Kindergartners yesterday. We read some books about being active and eating healthy. They each completed the MyPlate Pledge, and received some fun handouts and coloring book I brought for them to bring home to share with their families. If you look close you can also see them sporting there new Creating Generation Healthy bright green bracelets, that will help remind them to Eat Real and Move More.
