I have always loved homecoming week!!!! Dressing up for theme days is the best, this year our days included Jacket Pride Day, Tourist Day, Tie Dye, Greek, and Farmer for "Plow the Prowlers." And to top it off our Junior and Senior Classes organized our own Powder Puff football this year. If you love homecoming too, consider being a part of your schools student council. I have been involved in student council since middle school, it is a blast putting together fun events for homecoming and other times of the year.

It's always a good day when you get to spend the afternoon with 17 little Waseca Princesses. My sister queens and I shared a float with them for the Waseca Marching Classic Parade on Saturday. I passed out flyers on the parade route to promote our Princess Program, and Waseca Pageants. Our pageant date is Nov 25th, and will crown 2 Miss, and 2 Teens. Message me for more info!   Congratulations to Morgan Berg, the new Miss North Star, pictured here with her directors.  Three beautiful young ladies crowned in Bemidji. Congrats to Emily Bergeron, and Madison Reynolds on being crowned Miss Bemidji and Miss Northern Lakes, and Britta Aas, the new Miss Northern Lakes Outstanding Teen. Super excited for all of you! I was fortunate enough to compete at state with Britta this past June, and let me tell you she is such a sweet girl, love that she will be back on the state stage again. Love you!
Little Sprouts Garden Gang has been growing in leaps and bounds this year, and the timing couldn't have been better, since new state guidelines require serving more vegetables to children. In my next Little Sprouts Garden Gang Highlight we meet Krist's Kids Daycare in Vergas, MN. These kids are posing in the garden they planted this summer at their daycare. Thanks Kristi for all you do as a childcare provider, especially teaching these children about the importance of good nutrition through gardening. So happy to have you as a member of Little Sprouts Garden Gang. Fun fact, my family sat next to Cara and her mom for Miss Minnesota.   Congratulations to Shayley Espeseth Miss Moorhead, and Kaitlin Wake Miss Moorhead Outstanding Teen. And, Thank you to Abby and Ashleigh for being great local title holders  I'm pretty sure this is the cutest thing I have ever seen. My little friend Wyatt wants to be a gardener when he grows up. Buddy, you already are! You did such a great job planting the garden at daycare this year with me, and I can't wait to plant with you again next year.
