These are just some of the great kids I was able to speak to today about my platform, Creating Generation Healthy. I read them some books and talked about the importance of being active and eating healthy. Then they all signed the MyPlate Pledge conveniently located on the back side of my signature cards. Each child was also given a book, nutrition activity workbook, and a fun bracelet to remind them to Eat Real and Move More. Thank you Heart of the Lakes School for allowing me to visit today. 

Part of Creating Generation Healthy is making sure healthy opportunities exsist for today's youth. I have volunteered numerous hours as a Gymnastics Coach to help ensure children are getting the active play their bodies require to stay healthy. #CreatingGenerationHealthy

While most people spend New Years raising a glass, I spent my New Years Eve raising money for my Platform. I put together a Team of friends to help with catering and clean up for a wedding. We raised $100! Funds will be going towards the purchase of seeds for Little Sprouts Garden Gang, an Organization I started last summer. I partner with child care homes through out the state, providing free vegetable seeds and visits to promote healthy beginnings for young children. #CreatingGenerationHealthy

Annual Holiday Extravaganza Fundraier featured something new this Year... Sleigh rides! This event combines winter talent show, along with craft show, games, and face painintg, and of course visits to  Santa. Funds raised go to Childrens Miracle Network and Waseca Pageant Scholarships.

Our first official order of business. Brunch with our directors, and planning our calendar of events. Here we go... can't wait!.
